All Church Home for Children Becomes Newest United Way Partner

All Church Home for Children has become the newest United Way of Tarrant County community partner and will receive funding to support its emergency shelter services for youth.

“The Bridge Youth and Family Services had been a United Way community partner for several years,” explains Tim Carter, United Way CEO. “When All Church Home for Children and the Bridge Youth and Family Services combined operations, we wanted to continue supporting this critical community service.”

All United Way funding is designated for the Emergency Youth Shelter, the Bridge (located at Summit and Rio Grande near Interstate 30). The Bridge is now a program of the All Church Home for Children, which offers emergency housing and care to homeless and runaway youth. In addition to meeting the basic needs of youth while they are staying at the emergency shelter, All Church Home for Children works to reunite them with their families or finds a safe and meaningful alternative living arrangement.

The Emergency Youth Shelter, the Bridge is the only emergency youth shelter for homeless and runaway youth in Tarrant County. It serves nearly 275 youth every year. ACH welcomes United Way as a partner in this critical service for these young people.
