We could really use your help! Your in-kind donations provide the children and families we serve with vital items that allow them and us to save money. The donation of any of the following needs
items is greatly appreciated. We can accept donations at our Administrative
Offices located on our Summit Campus at 1424 Summit, Fort Worth, Texas 76102, Monday-Friday,
8:30 am - 4:30 pm. Back-to-School Supplies: As the children served by ACH head back to school this fall, they are most in need of backpacks and school uniforms. We need uniforms for boys and girls of all sizes including navy, khaki or denim pants, shorts, skirts, skorts or jumpers and navy or white collared shirts or blouses.* *For further information and guidelines regarding FWISD dress code requirements, please visit http://www.fortworthisd.org and click on the Standards of Dress link within the Student and Parent Information section of the page.
The Emergency Youth Shelter, The Bridge Store: The Bridge Store is an incentive program for youth (ages 10-17) in the shelter that helps them maintain good behavior. The youth earn "Bridge Bucks" if they act responsibly by completing their chores, treating staff and peers with respect, and having fun. The donation of any of the following new items for the Bridge Store would be greatly appreciated:
In-Kind Donation Acceptance Policy: Due to insufficient storage and sorting capacity, All Church Home for Children can only accept the following donations of goods: - household items on an as-needed basis We want you to know how we use donations from the community. New and gently-used
clothing items are kept and distributed to the children and their families as
they need them. We store these items in our Care Closet and staff “shop” for
needed items for the children and families before we purchase anything. We
define “gently-used” as those items that cannot immediately be recognized
as having been worn. Items with significant stains, holes, or extreme wear
and tear are given to the Salvation Army, Goodwill or other large donation-processing
non-profit organizations.
